I love kettlebells! Before I became a certified* kettlebell trainer, I used to work with them between sets of traditional dumbbell exercises to get an extra cardio burn. I would swing a light bell back and forth - and feel like I was going to take off! The more I did this, the more confidence I got. So I started to research different exercises. And I sought out RKC Master Trainers Pavel Tsatsouline and Neghar Fonooni on YouTube, so I could mirror their perfect technique. I became certified to use kettlebells with clients because from experience I knew these cast iron cannon balls can sculpt a great body shape incredibly quickly. I consider myself "The kettle bell queen". (But I know that until I can do a Turkish get up with a 16kg bell that I am a "Kettle bell commoner"!)
I will use kettlebells to train you if you want to get lean quickly, as well as to build power for performance.
*I hold 3 kettlebell cerifications as wasll as attend regular workshops
Bands, Balls etc: The Mobility Stuff
iFit: No Equipement Needed: The Total Body Weight System
Bodyweight exercises are basically strength training exercises. But they don’t use free weights or resistance machines. They just use the weight of your own body. There are lots of well-known examples - the push-up, the pull-up, the air squat; they’re often called definitive exercises because they combine efficiency and compound movement, are based on your body’s natural motion and are the truest test there is: you lifting yourself. Bodyweight exercises can give you truly incredible returns in strength, muscle building, cardiovascular fitness and burning fat; they are the foundation of almost every great workout and every great physique.
Barbells & Dumbbells: Strength & Conditioning
Strength and conditioning is not just about what you can lift; it’s about your whole physical development. It does include strength and power, but it’s also about speed and agility, endurance and stability, plyometrics and explosive movement.
I have spinning for 20 years and teaching for 10 for of those. Why because it gives me the most incredible rush and sense of appolishment. A spin class can change your life not just body.
